Builth Wells Golf Club has an active membership of 300 plus members.

The club offers a full competition fixtures schedule for the men’s, ladies and junior sections aimed at all standards of golfer. There are regular members 'roll ups' on Tuesday & Friday's as well as seniors mornings on Monday & Thursday. Lady members meet for 9 holes & coffee on Monday afternoon’s (1.00pm) and Wednesday mornings when no competition has been organised.

We welcome applications for membership whether by invitation from existing club members or by contacting the Secretary via e-mail or letter. The annual fees for 2024/2025 are shown below and the club does not operate a joining fee therefore it is a straightforward annual subscription which can be paid by direct debit mandate (monthly) by credit/debit card or cheque/cash.

Twilight membership rules & restrictions:

• Members would not be entitled to represent any club teams unless specifically asked by team Captain

• Members would have an option to pay a reduced rate green fee to play before the outlined tee times

• Members would be permitted to obtain/hold an official club handicap and play in club competitions, excluding the major club competitions and knockouts

Country Membership

A country member must be a full time member of another club.  Country members are NOT eligible to play in any club trophy competitions, knockout competitions or the Club Championship.

Junior Membership

Builth Wells has an active junior section and encourages the participation of junior members in club competitions upon receipt of a senior handicap. Junior coaching sessions take place once a week on a Saturday from April to October with tuition from our club professional, Simon Edwards and /or trainee professional, Aaron Evans.

* Builth Wells Golf Club offers a concessionary rate offering full playing membership to individuals that can demonstrate restricted affordability due to low or modest income.
