The clubhouse at Builth Wells Golf Club is a grade 2 listed building being a converted 15th century “Welsh Long House” featuring several original oak beams.

The original clubhouse was extended in 2004 (part funded by The Wales Tourist Board),the make up of the clubhouse became much more visitor orientated whereby two large lounge areas were created, a smaller bar area (the snug bar) and a separate dining area seating 40 – 50 people, giving visiting society golfers various different options following their round of golf. The extension is very much in keeping with the original building with oak beams featuring significantly.

The extension of the clubhouse gave members and visitors a facility second to none and helped create increased visitor numbers to the club and boost the local economy in the process.

The visiting golfer is assured of a very warm welcome in the clubhouse from Lauren Jones and her staff (food & beverage manager).
