Following the cancellation of today's (Monday 5th June) Senior (Men's) Pairs Open due to the wonderful British weather, the Open event has been re arranged and will be played on Monday 17th July 2017.
Those players that were on the original start sheet will be contacted with the new date and will be offered the same starting times. Additional entries will be taken, please enter via the normal channels.
Saturday 25th March saw Club Captain's, Sherrie Edwards & Chris Offa host their 'Swansong' competition. Sherrie & Chris have had a phenomenal year of Captaincy especially on the fund raising front. The 3 chosen charities for the year were Motor Neurone Disease Association, Wales Air Ambulance & Midlands Air Ambulance with a whopping £5234 being raised & split between the 3 of them. Sherrie & Chris will hand over the Captaincy to Enid Evans & Tom Davies, good luck to both Enid & Tom for the forthcoming year.

The final day of the 2016 Builth Wells Golf Club Open Weekend saw the playing of the Heart of Wales Trophy, individual stableford, full handicap.
The 2016 winner was home Club member Don Harris with a fine score of 43 points. Don pipped local lady member Hayley Price on the back nine, Hayley also scoring a tremendous 43 points. Full results:

Day 3 of 4 in the 2016 Builth Wells Golf Club Open Weekend saw the playing of the Hugh Vaughan Mixed Greensomes Medal. 68 pairs participated representing 34 different golf clubs from across the UK. Winning the trophy for the 2nd time were Tony Hill (Cocksmoor Woods) & Christine Henderson (Kings Norton) with a net score of 64.5.
